What’s the big idea?
- Is your child struggling to develop an idea when writing?
- Do you feel as though their writing lacks imagination or creativity?
- Do they write simplistically with no imagery or detail?
Then our Visualising4Creativity holiday program is for them.
Visualising4Creativity
Through this program, we will engage Grade 4 to 7 children in fun, hands-on activities to support the vital academic skill of creative writing!
We will develop their visualisation skills needed for ongoing vocabulary development, story planning and creative writing — a skillset vital for academic and career success but often skimmed in class due to time pressures.
How will the Seeds of Knowledge Visualising4Creativity develop writing skills?
This unique program will develop a range of learning skills, including:
- higher-order thinking skills (knowledge, comprehension, and application)

- Exploring details to enhance writing: The students will engage in various activities to support the skills of listening and creating.
- Describing to develop creative writing: To develop creative writing, the children will participate in activities that will develop their knowledge, comprehension, and ability to write creatively. These activities will support vocabulary development, detailed description, and idea generation.
- Visualisation to enrich writing: This unique process will help children to enhance their creative thinking skills. It will support the thinking process required for writing.
- Problem-solving to extend writing: Children will participate in hands-on activities that are linked to language and imagination development.
