Prep4Prep Holiday Sessions
There’s nothing like the magic and mayhem of that first day at school. For our youngest learners, Prep is a time for new ideas, new places and new friends – and often new worries and challenges, too.
It’s not too late to give your upcoming Prep the tools they need to face those new challenges. Our award-winning Prep4Prep program has helped countless families navigate their child’s first year of schooling, and we’re excited to offer it to you as an easy-to-schedule holiday intensive.
Run as a series of one-hour sessions, our intensive Prep4Prep Holiday sessions give your child the confidence to tackle their Prep year. Our students engage in fun, hands-on learning activities designed to stimulate their minds, build their confidence in academic settings and overall improve their readiness for formal schooling.

Our Prep4Prep Holiday sessions are flexibly designed
- No previous experience in tutoring is required – this program is designed to ease children into formal educational settings.
- There is no prerequisite knowledge – we meet emerging learners where they are.
- You are not locked into every session – flexible attendance options are available
The Prep4Prep Holiday Program is all about preparing our emerging learners for their first trip to the classroom. It’s a big transition, for families and children alike, and our program aims to make it as smooth as possible. This award-winning program is tailored to:
- promote confidence and comfort with school structure and routine
- ensure socially and emotionally prepared for the challenges of school, including working and playing in groups
- familiarise students with a classroom environment and expectations
- practise school readiness skills, including gross and fine motor tasks
- develop concentration skills needed for learning
- promote confidence in following instructions
- encourage a willingness to learn and help students look forward to school!
This is a unique opportunity to give our children the best start possible in their school careers. Prep4Prep offers our emerging learners a chance to get a solid footing on a host of foundational skills critical to a good start. It takes the stress out of starting Prep, for parents and children alike. It’s not to be missed!
When and where are the sessions held?
All sessions are held in our teaching facility in Fairfield, Brisbane.
Our next sessions are in the 2024/2025 school holiday period. Select from the following sessions:
- Monday 6th January, 2025: 9.00-10.00am
- Tuesday 7th January, 2025: 9.00-10.00am
- Thursday 16th January, 2025: 3.00-4.00pm
- Friday 17th January, 2025: 3.00-4.00pm
- Monday 20th January, 2025: 9.00-10.00am
- Tuesday 21st January, 2025: 9.00-10.00am
Enrolments are flexible. Start with one, or invest in a confident start by enrolling in all.

Since starting The Prep4Prep Program, Ollie’s enthusiasm for learning new things has skyrocketed! He now has a keen curiosity for the world around him and is constantly sharing his learnings with us. Lasni has created fun and engaging activities that build on from previous weeks. Through the regular weekly sessions, Ollie is developing the skills and confidence to participate fully in lessons, and this will help to eliminate the anxiety of starting his primary school journey. We can rest assured that come the start of next year, Ollie’s new challenge of Prep will have the best beginning possible.

What an absolute joy the Prep4Prep has been!
My understanding of prep readiness was quite limited plus my husband and I shared some apprehension that we would be overloading Charlie with this programme on top of Kindy. After sharing these concerns with the program director we learned about how the values of growth mindset, building confidence and curiosity are all built into this course to help assist a child become ‘prep ready’. We decided to enrol Charlie and we couldn’t be more happy.
The class has become her favourite part of the week and she comes home so energised. We absolutely love listening to her rattle off everything she has learned and hearing her utilise the language of growth mindset in her daily life. As parents, we felt so supported from the team at Seeds of Knowledge and like Charlie, we feel totally confident about being Prep ready.
